Unity reviews whether there is interference between the Spatial Mesh model obtained through the Hololens 2’s TOF sensor and the overlapping visualized BIM model. The criteria for determining whether or not to overlap are the location and number of marker attachments, and spacing between members.
Comparing iPad Pro with Holens 2
The LiDAR sensor on the iPad Pro makes the Spatial Mesh look a bit more sophisticated than the Holens 2’s TOF sensor, and the 3D model seen on the tablet’s display is clearer than the hologram 3D model. The iPad is less stable than Hololens in the original position and angle of the 3D model when the user moves.
