The Visual Intelligence-based Construction Safety Management System Development Lab intends to develop a system that can efficiently manage construction site risks in a different way than the existing ones by converging the core technologies of the 4th industry to solve the seriousness of construction accidents.

“Visual intelligence-based construction safety management that can assist the vision and intelligence of site managers and workers by automatically recognizing, controlling, and managing on-site risk factors using video and photo data and deep learning-based information creation and visualization technology system” to prevent accidents in the construction industry.

The development system includes:

  1. Develop a system for inspecting and controlling temporary facilities using BIM 3D information, image matching, and augmented reality technology.
  2. We develop object recognition and situation-specific risk determination algorithms, and on-site risk factor analysis and control systems through various image acquisition devices.
  3. Establish risk prediction analysis and image learning data by construction type through big data analysis.
